The Slifer Red Dorm. The dorm of the newbies, the lowlifes, the slackers. The people of this dorm have come to be known as “Slifer Scum” and other names. Nobody WANTED to be a member of the Slifer dorm, but its not like people really had much of a choice. One lucky girl though was narrowly able to escape this fate but only because of a letter of recommendation from her lost brother. Despite this fact, this girl was interested in seeing what kind of people could be found at the Slifer Red Dorm.
“Not many people around here today, where is everyone?” She asked as she felt the wind blow. A small little girl, no older than 6, maybe 7 wearing a Ra yellow uniform walks into the building. She begins to explore the dorm area, the cafeteria, the library, the rooms area. All of it seemed a bit….underwhelming in comparison to her Ra Yellow Dorm. “Overall this is a nice place, I wonder why nobody like to be apart of this oof” She says as she runs into a boy wearing a duel disk on his arm. She saw he was wearing a Slifer Red uniform, but none the less stepped back and bowed in respect. “I’m so sorry!! I really need to watch where I’m going, please forgive me!!!” She said in a worried tone. Some Slifers peeked out, and started muttering to each other, it really wasn’t often that a Ra yellow would bow down before a slifer, this was odd in their eyes.

Juugo the young and arrogant Slifer Red duelist was inside of the library going through some of the hand me down books he had found one that had gotten his attention. It spoke of the card his grandfather had given him his first duel monster ever the 'Blue Eyes White Dragon' Juugo continued to read being entertained by the book. When suddenly turned the page to find a page missing he let out an irritated sigh, thats one thing about Juugo he was a good duelist but his short temper usually clouded his judgement and ruined his strategy. He forced the book back where it was making some of the books shake around it, then to make things worse someone bumped into him making him stumble a bit. He turned with an sharp look "Hey jackass! Watch where your--" but he stopped when he saw the little girl bowing to him.
At first Juugo was a bit shocked the girl wore a Ra Yellow uniform, 'Why is she bowing to me?' he thought in his mind then he heard behind him the other Slifers whispering amongst themselves. He turned "Hey ladies! Got something to say to me!?" he yelled in a harsh tone the group of Slifers sweatdropped waving there arms around as they walked away. Juugo turned back to the girl "Hey brat, aren't you a little lost? This is Slifer Reds dorm" he said with his hands in his pocket.

The little girl stood up tall. She really did simply look like a child. The people who were peering out all came out and watched. Whispering could be heard around the two as they waited for the little girl to respond. “Well, I heard about how all three dorms were different, I love to explore and check out new places!!! So far I have been everywhere in the dorm except inside somebody’s room!!! This place isn’t THAT bad, with a little work and cleaning it could be a nice place to live!! I am really not sure why it is that everyone calls you people such rude names I mean….” She went on talking. She had a cute an innocent smile on her face. The thing was, she seemed like she didn’t know when she was getting annoying. As a result…..

Juugo listened to the girl speak, seemingly endlessly she didn't stop his left eyebrow twitched "Shut up! We don't you here! Telling us what you think about our dorm! You think your pitty is needed around here!?" Juugo yelled furiously making a fist. He was leaning towards the girl shouting at her he leaned back and stood sideways with his left shoulder pointed at her "You just leave..." he said as he turned and started to walk away from the girl. But then he stopped he looked over to the other Slifers they were whispering amongst themselves, Juugo automatically believed that they were talking about him he turned towards the girl "Hey! Whats your name girl?" he asked standing in that sideways position again.

Misami started crying. She was no matter how you looked at her a little child. The other Slifers looked over at Juugo and one even commented “Hey man!! You didn’t have to yell at her!!” And that’s when the others started commenting out loud as well
“She was only commenting the dorm”
“Its not everyday were judged positively you know”
“She is just a child have you no shame?”
More things then that were spoken, all of which directed at Juugo. In the middle of it all, Misami spoke, and they all stopped then and there. “Misami….my name…is Misami Hirokutora” her voice was like a knife that cut the sound, splitting it, and leaving nothing but silence in its place. She whispers her tears, and begins to turn around. “He’s right, a Ra yellow like me doesn’t belong here, I’ll just go home now” She says as she walks off. The Slifers all clear a path allowing the child to walk off, all while she they glare an angry glare Juugo’s way.
“Oh, and please don’t be mad at him, I’m not mad at him and neither should any of you.” She says as she starts to walk out. The Slifers begin chatting amongst themselves again.

Juugo stood silent looking at the all the Slifers talk to him and throw out there little comments in defense of the girl. He smirked "Yeah, bark thats all you guys can do! Thats why everyone looks down on you all!" he yelled back them crossing his arms as he ignored there glares not caring much. As the girl walked away and spoke Juugo just rolled his eyes shaking his head, in his eyes she was trying to turn everyone against him but he didn't care he wasn't here to make friends anyway. But suddenly he got an idea a grin came across Juugo's face "Hey! Misami, wait!" Juugo said stepping forward and walked towards her pushing a Slifer red out of his way. He then pointed a finger at the girl, "Me and you, were going to duel outside right now. No exceptions, this is a direct challenge from a Slifer Red! To a Ra Yellow!" he said as he raised his hand with the dule disk on it making a fist.

The crowd of Slifers awed in shock. Not only did the guy insult a little girl, he also challenged her to a duel. She was a Ra Yellow, and he was a Slifer Red. This was a challenge Misami would be unable to turn down. “On one condition!!” She says as she turns around., Het face looked all serous. “If I win, your to be nice and kind to those around you, no more being mean and yelling at people!!” She days as she adjusts her duel disk. The Slifers were all talking amongst themselves, they really weren’t sure who to root for. There own Slifer red, or the Ra Yellow who was nice and complimented them even though she was a level above them.

"Sure..." Juugo replied as a smirk came across his face 'As if your going to win anyway' he thought in his mind. He then proceeded to make his way outside "Come on where dueling outside" he said as he stepped outside and made his way down the stairs once on the dirt floor outside he stood with his arms crossed. Juugo reached into his back pocket taking out his deck, he looked at it and at the bottom the car facing him was the card his grandfather had given to him the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Juugo smirked as he clsoed his eyes 'I need you to help me now Blue Eyes, lend me your power in this duel!' he thought to himself as he shuffled the deck and set it into his duel disk. The life points were raised to eight thousand and the disk began to activate its hologram program.

Misami followed him. The conditions of the duel were set. She got into her position and picked up her deck. Looking at it, she saw White Magician Pikeru, and below that card, Black Magician Curran. “Well my friends, lets go. If we win, we could make a big difference in somebody’s life.” She says as she shuffles her deck and draws her first hand.
“I’ll go first alright? I draw!!” She says as she pulls her sixth card and places it in her hand. She looks at her and then smiles “It seems your looking after me, maybe you really ARE my guardian angel” she speaks as she pulls a card out of her hand “I will start by placing two cards facedown and place a monster face down in defense mode!! This will end my turn!” She says as the sound of two facedown’s appear on the field lined up.

Juugo stood quietly as she made her move he chuckled "Whats with that noobshi move!? Let me show how to really get a duel started!" he said as he drew his five cards and looked at them he grinned as he was satisfied with his hand he then drew his sixth card. He looked up at the girl from his hand then at the field 'Ok, time to break her defenses!' he thought in his mind. "First, I'll set a card face down" he said as he took a card and set it face down, on the Spell & Trap area. Then he reached to the far right "Next I summon! Mad Sword Beast!" he yelled out as he placed the card on the monster field in face up attack position.
A bright light shined in front of Juugo as a giant Rhino Turtle hybrid creature was summoned it roared wildly as it swung its head around. Juugo aimed his finger at the face down defense card "Mad Sword Beast! Attack!" he called out as the monster roared and rushed ahead striking the face down defense card with a powerful horn thrust.

She would brace herself as she would feel the wind of the attack strike her. She would lose lifepoints on the very first move, but didn’t seem to mind one bit. “Its my move now!! DRAW!!” She shouts as she draws her next card. “First I activate my face down card, Solemn Wishes!! Next I summon Ebon Magician Curran in attack mode!!” She says as a bright light appears, and a girl holding a whip stands in front of her. The girl turns around and looks at Misami “So you summon me?” Misami looks shocked. She was used to her cards looking back at her, but never speaking to her. “C-curran, y-your real?” She says as she falls backwards onto the ground. “Well of course I’m real stupid, now you going to equip me with that card, or do you want me to fall to that beast on my first turn out?” She looks in shock as she was aware of the dark equip card in her hand “R-right” She says as she stands up “I now equip Curran with Axe of Despair!” She says as a smirk appears on Currans face. A huge axe materializes in her hand and she looks at the Mad Sword Beast with a malicious look on her face. “Now THIS is what I’m talking about!!” Curran says as she suddenly charges out, and strikes the Mad Sword Beast “NO CURRAN WAIT!!” She shouts, but it was too late, Curran had already struck down and destroyed the Mad Sword beast. Juugo stood there as the girl summons a woman with a whip, then something odd happened the monster and the girl started to interact he had a puzzled look on his face as did the other Slifers who were watching the duel. Then the girl made her move, Juugo took a low stance as the monster was equiped with Axe of Despair his eyes widened 'Darn it! No!' he thought in his mind as the monster rushed forward and attacked with a powerful swing of the giant axe slicing the monsters in half. It let out a final roar, as it vanished in a burst of light Juugo flinched a bit as his life points went down. Juugo sighed as he placed his hand over his deck and drew the card he looked at it and smirked closing his eyes, "Alright for my next turn I flip up my face down and activate Jar of Greed!" he called out as the card flipped over a giant red jar appeared with a menacing smile on its face.
Juugo looked at Misami "I can now draw one card..." he did so he drew the card and looked at it smirking Juugo then reached to the middle left of his hand and grabbed a monster setting it face down in defense position. "Face Down defense mode..." he said as he swung his hand, ending his turn.

Misami left a sigh of relief as he wasn’t able to counter her attack. Perhaps Curran was too powerful for her, or maybe that facedown monster was a trap waiting to be released. “I draw!!” She says as she pulls her card out and places it in her hand. “Now that my standby phase is here, you take 300 points of damage due to Currans effect for each monster you control…” She says as Curran snickers and strikes her opponent once with her whip. She knew it would have to sting some but there really was nothing she could do. “Also, I gain 500 lifepoints due to the effect of Solemn Wishes!” She speaks as it seems to rain over Misami, and her life points gauge increases. After that, one of her cards lit up, and flew onto her duel disk. A white blinding light appears, and a small girl wearing white appears. “Curran!! How many times must I tell you NOT to attack unless the one who summons you commands you!!!” Misami looks in shock. “Uh…I summon White Magician Pikeru in Attack Mode I guess?” She says as she continues to watch the two cards argue. “Yeah yeah!! And what duel spirit put YOU in charge? I do what I want remember!!” She says as she gives a HUMPH and turns away. Pikeru’s eyes turn a comical white color as she begins yelling at Curran. “BUIT CURRAN THIS IS NOT HOW A PRINCESS IN TRAINING IS SUPPOSED TO ACT!!!” She says loudly. Curran simply turns back to her and sticks out her tong. Pikeru has a nerve budge and turns away as well. Misami has a sweat drop appear at the back of her head as she looks at her cards. “Well while pikeru’s out….” She says as she pauses and looks over at Curran. She looks at Misami with an evil stare, then looks over at the facedown. “Well, I attack with Pikeru!!” She says as Curran jumps with a surprised look on her face. “WHAT? But I have the most attack here!!” She says as Pikeru simply moves forward and points her staff at the facedown monster. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario 1: The monster has less defense than 1200 As she watches the facedown monster appear and vanish, Pikeru turns to Curran and smiles. “Listen Curran, the rules state your simply supposed to obey the commands of the one who summons us!! Going against Misami here is a violation!!” Misami watches in confusion. “Pft whatever, he’s wide open, call out the attack so I can please “Miss Goody Two Shoes” here” She says as she faces Juugo, eager to attack. “I End my turn” She says as Curran turns around with 3 nerve budges on her forehead. “WHAT!!!!!” She shouts as she starts to lose her temper. “Please, trust me on this one!! Ok Curran?” Curran then plops herself on the ground facing away from Pikeru, and in a pouting voice. “Fine!” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Scenario 2: The Monster has 1200 Defense or higher. Pikeru feels the attack backfire, and Misami is forced to brace herself for the attack., The monster now revealed, Curran now has a pissed look on her face. “Damn it!!! You see that? _____ Defense points!!! I KNEW it would be smarter for me to attack first!!” Curran looks back at Misami. “Allow me to finish it off!!” She says in an upset manor. “I’m sorry Curran, but I end my turn here” She says as Curran turns around with 3 nerve budges on her forehead. “WHAT!!!!!” She shouts as she starts to lose her temper. “Please, trust me on this one!! Ok Curran?” Curran then plops herself on the ground facing away from Pikeru, and in a pouting voice. “Fine!” Field Monsters: Ebon Magician Curran (2200,0), White Magician Pikeru (1200,0) Spell/Trap: Solemn Wishes, Axe of Despair, Face Down Lifepoints: 7100 |

Juugo watched quietly as the girl made her turn then suddenly the woman used her whip Juugo felt the sting it was a direct hit he flinched a bit. 'Bastard....I'll get rid of you this turn!' he thought angrily, then the girl gained life points from her magic card. Juugo didn't care he merely smirked flicking his nose as he closed his eyes then opened them and stared at the girl when she said she ended her turn it was like music to his ears. Juugo reached for his deck and drew again he chuckled "About time the tables turned!" he yelled out as he looked at his hand adding the card.
Juugo reached to his far left "First Im going to summon, Battle Ox! Come forth my mighty creature!" he called out placing the card down then summoning the Ox warrior. The Ox swung its axe slicing the air and it let out what looked like steam from its nose, Juugo's smirk turned to a grin.
He reached for the middle of his hand and placed the card in the spell and trap field, "I activate Fissure, destroying the Magican Pikeru!" he said as the ground under the monster would open up and many hands reached up pulling her down to the ground. Juugo then reached into his hand again and held another card in his hand "Im not done! Next comes the spell card Rush Recklessy!' he called out activating the card and equiping it to Battle Ox, its attack points reaching (2400) he aimed his hand at the other monster "ATTACK!" the ox let out a vicious roar as he ran forward and swung his axe downward at the monster. Juugo chuckled swinging his arms as his monsters returned and he ended his turn. His spell cards affect fading as the monsters attack points returned to normal.

Misami watches in horror as her Pikeru was dragged down. Curran looked bat at her with an angry look on her face. “I hope you can back up your words!!! And you!!” She says as she looks over at Juugo before the attack would connect. “I will be back to seek revenge on you!!! Mark my words!!” She says as Battle Ox clashed with Curran, and Curran was destroyed. She would simply take 200 life points, but that meant nothing to her.
“I Draw!!” She says as she picks up her next card. Shje places it in her hand and then it seemed to rain on her once again. “By Solemn Wish’s effect, I gain 500 life points for simply drawing a card!! Now I summon a monster in face down defense mode, and end my turn with another facedown card!!” She says as another card appears in the spell and trap zone, and her turn ends there.
