Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh! Masters RPG. This is a fan-based RPG forum bassed off both the anime Yu-Gi-Oh! as well as the official Trading Card Game. Due to the nature of the anime and official card game conflicting, I will have to lay down a few rules so as to make things a bit fair
The card game, and the anime run on different rules. Although the anime may make rules seem easer, the actual card game runs much differently. As a result, I am going to state that it done by OFFICAL TCG rules and regulations. This of course, includes card restrictions. We will mainly be playing by Traditional Format (March ’09) for all duels.
Some may request duels in Advanced Format, if that’s the case, simply follow rules of Advanced Format which simply includes forbidden cards.
